Whether as a DJ, producer, label head of Ostwind Records or A&R of Decks Records and I Play Vinyl – everything centers on music in Nils Nilson’s life. After several gigs in Germany and overseas, his own EPs on Ostwind Records or Pocketgame Records, remixes for My Best Friend or Simple As That, Nils - at the age of 25 - is not a dark horse in the techno scene. His EPs, tracks and remixes made it into the charts of artists and record shops. Even other artists were able to celebrate some success due to his work. “Roots” is written with a capital letter by Nils, you can hear that in his sets and productions. Nevertheless, he’s always in search of the sound of tomorrow. A certain drive, emotions and the sense for outstanding moments turn his DJ sets unique.
